'Through this exhibition we will explore the notion of space and relationships. During the current year and due to the Covid19 pandemic, both these aspects have been constantly challenged and tested to the extreme.
This exhibition highlights the physical and personal difficulties of human relationships and contrast it with the exploration that different mediums have between each other and audience.
There is a certain irony of being closer to the work through the screen, through the elements of sound and video where senses are altered and distorted; as in contrast to an in person experience where distance has to be kept.
The diversity of media and the different ways in which the artists have approached the challenging field of human interaction during a pandemic, allowing the viewer to question how it would make them feel seeing the work remotely. We would like to invite the audience to reflect on the COVID pandemic by engaging with our show, which will hopefully raise both curiosity, intrigue and hope towards the future with physical and material touch. This exhibition will allow you to ‘step closer’.'
